This interior part of Turkey can be cold especially during the winter months. Owing to the style of this hotel, there are numerous steps throughout the property which may make it not suitable for the less mobile.  Cave style hotels may also have rooms that lack external windows. 

Once a monastery, the award-winning Argos offers individually appointed rooms spread over several natural stone buildings. Some have breathtaking views of Pigeon Valley or a private outdoor area.  Argos is one of the most original transformation projects in Cappadocia. The desire to reveal, preserve, promote and embrace the beauty of Cappadocia transformed the idea of building a house into building a hotel. 

Under the supervision of expert architects, historians and the cultural and natural heritage preservation board, the hotel rooms, each of which took years to build and to be gradually incorporated into an area of 13,500 square meters, were inspired by the region in all their aspects from texture to decoration. Some rooms are accessed by underground tunnel and feature vaulted ceilings.  Built using local stones and wood, the rooms are furnished by combining traditional Turkish handicrafts with modern furniture.

Argos hotel gives guests the opportunity to unwind in the pool while watching the colourful dance of hot air balloons, have a massage while enjoying the view of Mount Erciyes and Pigeon Valley, or treat themselves to a delicious meal made with produce grown in the hotels own garden, taste award-winning wines made with the grapes from the Argos vineyard in the lounge area, or lose the track of time and let their eyes wander towards the valleys, vineyards, apricot and apple orchards by the fireplace or on the terrace in the evening.

The hotel’s Seki Restaurant serves a variety of local and international dishes, either indoors or al fresco accompanied by views of Güvercinlik Vallet and Erciyes Mountain. A wide selection of wines, produced from the property' own vineyards and stored in an underground cellar, are available. Guests can join sightseeing tours, hot air balloon rides, ATV and horse riding tours are also available.
