Boasting an enviable hilltop location with fantastic panoramic views over the coastline of Capri has a well-deserved reputation for impeccable service and the kind of relaxed elegance that the island is famous for.  It’s just a 3 minute funicular ride from Marina Grande and an 8 minute stroll through the bougainvillea bushes along Via Tragara to this former private villa that is now a boutique adult only hotel that has won numerous awards the world over.

There are just 30 rooms here – all spacious, light filled and incredibly comfortable combining classic Italian elegance with contemporary luxury. With the spectacular views of the coastline from virtually every window and terrace across the property, it’s no wonder many guests don’t stray far during the day.

The ideal spot in which to relax and enjoy the views is around one of the two delightful swimming pools or the solarium. One pool is on the upper terrace and the second more intimate pool is tucked away on a lower terrace. One offers a semi-open air workout space for the energetic and there is also an open-air snack bar and lunch-only restaurant. The grounds offer a number of secluded shaded patios that are perfect to hide away in with a good book or an afternoon cocktail. Guests are also able to use the tennis courts and wellness spa at the sister Grand Hotel Quisisana a few minutes walk away.

Before heading out to sample one of the local restaurants each evening, the diminutive lobby bar is the venue from which to grab a pre-dinner sundowner or chose from the impressive winelist.
