Due to the layout out of the hotel it may not be suitable for the less mobile and rooms are accessed by steps.  The hotel is inaccessible by road – there is a steep footpath and numerous steps in and out each way – the hotel does offer luggage porterage via their donkeys.  This hotel is not suitable for those with children unless all 4 rooms are booked by the same party.

Accommodating no more than eight overnight guests across just four boutique rooms, Faro Imperatore guarantees intimacy and seclusion. The property spans two levels and is surrounded by serene gardens that frame panoramic sea views. The building’s history is honoured through the use of original black-and-white photographs, nautical artefacts, and recycled furnishings, which lend an authentic, nostalgic atmosphere to the interiors. Every element has been chosen to complement the building’s heritage while offering understated luxury.

Each of the four guest rooms is situated on the first floor and is designed with a minimalist aesthetic. Handcrafted furnishings feature clean, modern lines that contrast beautifully with the natural stone and weathered textures of the building. The serene colour palette and careful attention to detail create a calming environment, perfectly aligned with the peaceful surroundings.

Guests begin each day with a Mediterranean breakfast, served in a light-filled space within the property. Ingredients are locally sourced and presented with care, reflecting the region’s culinary traditions. The on-site gourmet restaurant, “Luci,” welcomes both residents and non-residents and provides a refined dining experience.
