Botania Relais & Spa is situated just outside the picturesque town of Lacco Ameno on Ischia island.  Botania Relais & Spa, as well as the hotel’s restaurants, is seasonal and opens from April until the end of October each year.

The beautiful gardens in which the resort is located are rich in Mediterranean and native plants and flowers. The pretty ‘Green House’ provides a comfortable and relaxing seating area with an array of books and reading material to explore. Botania Relais & Spa is also home to a rejuvenating outdoor thermal pool. A spacious panoramic roof terrace is equipped for sun-bathing in total peace and quiet.

Botania Relais & Spa is a “sustainably managed” hotel and provides facilities designed to respect the local environment and surrounding community. The hotel management, aware of the importance of protecting the environment, has integrated an eco-friendly system designed with energy-saving materials reducing the use of energy, water and natural resources and is constantly active in reducing waste and utilizing eco-compatible products.

Botania Relais & Spa has 50 bedrooms and suites spread across 9 villas in the mature gardens of the resort. In fine weather, an extensive breakfast buffet is served on the terrace overlooking the gardens. Breakfast can also be served via room service.

Il Corbezzolo Restaurant offers a beautiful setting framed by the gardens and the pool, ideal for a light lunch of local fish and seafood. In the evenings enjoy delicious pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven or a romantic candlelight dinner. Il Mirto, the hotel’s vegetarian restaurant, was awarded a Michelin Green Star in 2023 for an outstanding commitment to ethical and environmentally conscious cuisine. The restaurant works with sustainable suppliers and serves creative vegetarian dishes in beautiful surroundings offering views of the landscape beyond.

Nonna Mari is a typical southern Italian home kitchen experience with a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea. Nonna Mari is open for private events, show cooking as well as the chef’s table. La Grotta and Iris bars invite guests to relax over a wide range of cocktails, aperitifs and digestives.

The generously sized outdoor pool is fed by a natural spring. As well as the indoor pool within the spa centre, there are also a couple of private plunge pools dotted around the gardens. The Garden Spa offers pampering treatments combined with the healing thermal waters of Ischia.
