NOTES

Morocco can be cold at night especially during the winter months.  Care should be taken as normal within the Medina of the city especially with mobile phones and purses/wallets.  As is the norm, appropriate dress may be required to enter any religious buildings.  Car hire recommended for holidays to this property.  

The Riad dar Daif is a charming family run guest house in the village of Talmasla on the outskirts of the city of Ouarzarzate which is around 3km.  It has the feel of a local kasbah meets traditional riad with most rooms overlooking a pretty courtyard.  There are some excellent views towards the city.

Much of the interior decoration includes a deep Touareg blu colour – there is no doubt indeed that this property in in the southern part of the Atlas Mountains.

Cosy and well furnished, the 14 rooms, junior suites and suites offer various outlooks with some being over the lush gardens, the courtyards or the hotel swimming pool. Some of the larger family rooms sleep up to 5 guests. Most offer private terraces.

Breakfast is served either on the terrace or to room each morning. The hotel kitchen is also open for lunch or dinner with the location of dining being personal choice as there are a number of spots throughout the gardens or within the hotel.

The outdoor pool is a lovely spot to relax and the on site spa area offers all of the usual treatments along with an authentic hammam for guests use.
