NOTES

Morocco can be cold at night especially during the winter months.  Care should be taken as normal within the Medina of the city especially with mobile phones and purses/wallets.  As is the norm, appropriate dress may be required to enter any religious buildings.  

Tucked away in a quieter area of the Medina of Marrakech (the UNESCO World Heritage listed historic centre), the traditional Riad Nashira & Spa offers a truly authentic and relaxing Moroccan experience.  The property is in an incredibly convenient spot – just a 15 minute stroll from Jemaa el-Fnaa (the main square) and a few minutes further to Koutoubia Mosque and the Bahia Palace.  In around 25 minutes in the opposite direction is the Jarin Majorelle – a beautiful botanic garden that offers a peaceful respite from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The 16 rooms and suites here surround two interior patios in a fresh blend of intimate courtyards and terraces. The style of the rooms could be described as sober and functional inspired by the local decorative tradition but this cleverly conceals all of the modern technology required by today’s travellers all the while emphasising the historic character of the Riad – think discrete and seductive luxury.

Within the Riad, there’s no better way to rest and recharge than by taking a refreshing dip in the outdoor or indoor pool, or by making the most of the hammams and Jacuzzis in the spa.
