Nestled in the beautiful Tuscan countryside between Radda in Chianti and Gaiole in Chianti, the Ultimo Molino Countryside Hotel is absolutely immersed in the stunning natural surroundings.  The property occupies a medieval mill and is typical Tuscan architecture throughout.  

The central lounge features no less than 13 arches in stone and brick. The hotel started life as a water mill and, restored carefully, today retains in clear view the original details such as the gears, the central hall and the cotto (the water channels along the corridors leading to the rooms).  The outdoor water storage tank is now the hotel pool.

Just 800m from Ultimo Molino is a new area – Borgo Le Noci which offers breathtaking views of the Tuscan countryside and where there is a infinity pool and restaurant/wine bar. The restaurant is available by reservation only.

Rooms here all overlook the greenery that surrounds and a carefully furnished and decorated in the style of Tuscan country cottages – wrought iron beds, floors in baked clay, exposed beams and original stone walls are all pared with all the comforts and amenities required by any guest. Some have private patios and some even have the added bonus of a jacuzzi. Some rooms are at Borgo le Noci which is 800m from the main building

The hotel pool that used to be the outdoor water storage tank is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the tranquility. Spa treatments are available at the Spa Vignavechhia, Rada in Chianti less than 10 minutes drive from the property (shuttle service provided).

Ultimo Molino has a genuinely local food offering and offers typical Tuscan recipes combining excellent local ingredients with an extensive wine list. Seasonality and quality raw materials are the cornerstone. The restaurant has a pleasant terrace area that is a lovely spot for lunch or in the warmer months a candlelight dinner. The hotel also offer cookery classes for those who wish to learn the secrets of Tuscan cuisine. Wine tastings are also available.
