The Hotel La Scalleta al Ponte Vecchio is a hotel filled with charm and attentive staff that makes every guest feel perfectly at home for the duration of their stay.  

Located within a 15th century palace just a minute walk from Palazzo Pitti, guests arrive here to the reception area on the 3rd floor.  The few small pubic spaces are sparsely furnished and narrow corridors are lined with bright red rugs.

Each room in the property is unique and ranges from classical Italian style to modern contemporary lines. All offer comfort and wellbeing to any guest. Some even have frescoed ceilings. Classic rooms feature patterned fabrics paired with richly painted furniture. Modern rooms feature earthy tones of white, beige or soft grey along with parquet floors. Spaces are uncluttered with simple minimalist furnishings.

La Scaletta means stairs – and there are plenty throughout the property, although there is a tiny elevator that fits just 2 people. Therefore, this property may not be suitable for the less-mobile. The surrounding neighbourhood is vibrant and offers a huge choice of restaurants, bars, shops and artisanal workshops to explore. Parking can be a challenge due to the central location close to the Ponte Vecchio bridge.
