  • Hotel L’Orologio Florence is a unique property within the city and overlooks the Santa Maria Novella, one of the most beautiful and ancient squares just a few minutes walk from from the famous Duomo and Ponte Vecchio.  The hotel is elegant and contemporary with a themed décor inspired by the magical world of Haute Horlogerie.  Each floor is a homage to luxurious watches – Rolex, Vacheron-Constantin and Patek Philippe.

The 55 rooms are all furnished in a typical Florentine style and feature quality items, marble bathrooms and curious details such as door handles in the shape of watch hands and sink taps that resemble the winding crowns of watches.

There are also 2 apartments at the Santa Felicita Apartments overlooking the Ponte Vecchio located on the top floors of a historic building. Wooden floors and fine furnishings create a warm and elegant atmosphere. These offer privacy and a starting point to visit the city without sacrificing hotel services from the main hotel just 15 minutes walk away. Check-in and out for the apartments is carried out at the main hotel – and each apartment has a private terrace with city views.

With breathtaking views of the Basilica, the breakfast room is on the 4th floor in an authentic Renaissance loggia. The lounge bar on the ground floor offers drinks and light meals throughout the day.

The Florentine architect-designer Marianna Gagliardi has created the feel of a rich, sumptuous gentleman’s club with lots of dark wood panelling, leather, vellum and marble, rich velvets in burnt orange and tobacco finished with retro brass lamps throughout the property. There is even a cigar room just off the bar. There is a basement sauna and gym area and guests are able to use the excellent spa at the five-star sister hotel Villa Cora; free transport is provided between the two.
