Set in an enviable position directly on the beach in the pretty area of Pittulongu, the Pelican Beach Hotel & Spa is all about rest and relaxation. The property offers a soothing blend of Mediterranean style with contemporary touches to create a sanctuary of peace and serenity.  There are a variety of spaces to unwind in including a garden, outdoor pool and jacuzzi, spa and wellness centre which has stunning views over Tavvolara island, and even a private sandy beach.

The 65 rooms here are split between the Pelican Villa where 26 rooms feature a refined Italian style and every room is unique. Each is less than 50m from the beach and is well equipped with all of the modern conveniences. The main building contains the remaining 39 rooms over 3 floors each with contemporary furnishings and most having a small private balcony some of which have sea views.

The excellent restaurant offers both local and international cuisine – reservations are required for the a la carte restaurant and there is also a dine-around programme in operation with a number of restaurants in Pittulongu participating.

The spa and wellness centre offers a variety of body and beauty treatments as well as the normal spa facilities. Access is payable locally for a 50 minute parcours (excluding treatments). The hotel pool area is surrounded by sunbeds and umbrellas with further sunbeds on the beach. There are a couple of outdoor jacuzzis available for guests use. One of these is located within a grassed area directly behind the beach which is reserved for beachfront rooms and suites of the Pelican Villa building. Beach service for sunbeds etc is also payable locally.
