  • Palazzo Mosco Inn is a historic boutique hotel of the nineteenth century, located in Gallipoli, in the heart of the old town centre, still essentially a fishing village, among the lanes and the small courtyards that smell of history and tradition.  Behind the beautiful St. Agatha’s Cathedral, Palazzo Mosco Inn is the ideal place to enjoy the comfort of a beach holiday in the the old town, close to historic sites, cultural places and amazing landscapes like Lecce, Otranto and Santa Maria di Leuca.

Palazzo Mosco Inn boasts a beautiful terrace overlooking the sea and the Gallipoli gulf  and is a breathtaking spot to enjoy romantic cocktails at sunset or just relax doing nothing.  During the warmer months, a buffet breakfast is served on the terrace, and during the cooler months, an exclusive breakfast room converted from an old stable, where a large single table is used for the unique breakfast.

A lovely, relaxing and well-equipped solarium is located on the sea view terrace as an alternative to the beach. There is also a wellness room that is used by visiting therapists for massage treatments. These need to be prebooked.

Rooms and the furniture, reflect the nineteenth-century style of the building. Some rooms conserve the original striking mosaics of the residence together with the canvas and perfume of history. Rooms are characterised by the love for details, by functionality and respect for the needs of the traveller. Some rooms overlook the alleys of the ancient village or the inner courtyard.

The building is surrounded by the major attractions of Gallipoli, the Purità beach, numerous churches and beautiful old buildings. Gallipoli’s nightlife is characterised by bars and restaurants on the fortifications with amazing views of the sea and the St. Andrew island lighthouse. The property also has many partnerships with the most beautiful beaches of Gallipoli such as Samsara, Bikini and Sottovento, a wide range of choice, from the most fashionable to the most exclusive beaches.

Up on the rooftop is the “DolceVita” Gourmet restaurant where there are stunning views over the gulf of Gallipoli. Specialities of seafood, vegetarian and meat all use top quality ingredients prepared and accompanied by wines from the Salento wine cellar or signature cocktails from the hotel bar.

Due to its architectural characteristics, the building cannot have an elevator.
