Recently refurbished, the NH Collection Palazzo Verona Hotel occupies a 14th Century building just a stone’s throw from the UNESCO-listed sights of the city and reminders of the ancient past are apparent throughout – with elegant columns and weathered stone doorframs in the lobbies, traces of frescoes in many rooms and even Roman ruins in the basement.
