One of the most iconic hotels in Ponta Delgada, well known for its prime location close to the historical centre, the Grand Hotel Acores Atlantico faces the marina and boasts superb ocean views combined with easy access to the best attractions of Sao Miguel.

The interior design is inspired by classic lines closely linked to the centennial history of the important Portuguese shipping line Empresa Insulana de Navegacao and evokes the European style of grand hotels across the continent.

130 rooms and 10 suites are all generously proportioned and elegantly decorated. The suites are names after the main ships of the company. Most offer balcony with either a view over the town of Ponta Delgada or the bay and the endless Atlantic ocean.
