NOTES

Bathed in the warm sunlight, hidden in the cobbled streets of Cuidadella, 3 manor palaces that make up the Faustino Gran offer a truly unique experience in Menorca. The palaces combined with 15 hectares of pine forest by the sea offer architectural heritage, wild nature and access to classic yachts to visit the most beautiful beaches of the island.
The sixteenth-century palace that is now Can Faustino is replete with features that recall its history. From Nicolas Gerin’s photography of the Sant Joan festivities, to the heraldic shields carved into the sandstone. Can Faustino has 21 guest rooms, 3 suites, and a villa with its own kitchen. The restaurant is located within the palace, which also has a garden blooming with native flower species, as well as a sun terrace and a spa.
Barely a stone’s throw away, the palace of Cal Bisbe provide 20 guest rooms and 4 suites. The splendid patio courtyard with swimming pool enjoys an outstanding view of Menorca Cathedral, which lends this space an air of both seclusion and grandeur. The influence of the island’s Arab past can be seen in the private terraces and paintings by Delphine Nény lend new character to the palace public areas.
Can Sebastia Palace is a 19th century manor house with beautiful views of Ciutadella, consisting of 8 exclusive rooms and a beautiful hammam. It stands out for its monumental staircase and an incredible private library for guests, where musical and cultural events are held.
The Casa de Pau welcomes visitors to enjoy the natural scenery of the Mediterranean, just as if they were guests at a Menorcan family reunion. The opportunity to have a meal here, or a dip in the swimming pool, or a walk down to the secluded cove of Ses Fontanelles to enjoy water sports, makes the experience all the more special. Transfers from the Casa de Pau to Ses Fontanelles Bay are made in a vintage ‘79 Land Rover Santana.
To get a complete picture of Menorca, it is essential to view the island from the sea. Once you’ve enjoyed a visit to the Casa de Pau, you have the opportunity to sail around the coastline, exploring the niches and coves away from the most crowded areas. The hotel spa is integrated in the vault of an ancient cave and includes an indoor natural stone pool, a steam room and a sauna.
