The minimum age requirement for both the pool area and the beach club is 12 years old.

Boasting chic country club vibes but directly on the sandy beach of Playa Migjorn, the contemporary yet classic Gecko Hotel & Beach Club is the perfect place to soak up the Mediterranean sunshine. 

It epitomises the luxury yet understated sense of glamour without even trying to.  Views out over the Med are truly breathtaking and the beach directly in front of the hotel really does give that feeling of barefoot luxury.

Rooms at the Gecko overlook the palm-filled gardens or the azure blue of the Mediterranean. All have clean lines, sleek fittings and neutral colour schemes with pops of cobalt which echo the colours of the sea. Suites come with extras including private plunge pools, hammocks or terraces with outdoor sofas.

The hotel pool area is surrounded by sunbeds and cabanas with more of those stunning sea views.  There is also a dedicated yoga space and the resident practitioner hosts a class each morning.  There are also a couple of private treatment rooms for reflexology, massage or facial treatments.  The hotel beach club is free of charge to hotel residents – there are beach cabanas, hammocks and sunbeds here all served by a bar that offers a lengthy menu of eats and drinks.  Paddleboarding is available from the beach club.  Non-residents can also access the beach club for a fee.  Both the pool and the beach club hum to the quiet chilled beat of the languid house music that Ibiza is famous for provided by resident DJs – the music adding to the feel-good atmosphere.  The minimum age requirement for both the pool area and the beach club is 12 years old.

Although the property does accept children, it is very much more suited to adult guests.
