One of the first true boutique hotels on Malta, the Hotel Juliani really does epitomise the concept.  The converted townhouse overlooks Spinola Bay and now has 44 sophisticated rooms, a rooftop pool and surrounding terrace with superb views and an outstanding restaurant.  Despite all of this, the property remains firmly family run that ensures all guests are made to feel at home yet looked after.

Rooms are decorated in refreshingly chocolate brown, greys, crisp blues and white. Each is elegantly decorated and furnished with contemporary pieces and has all the required amenities. Deluxe sea view rooms are slightly larger and offer the stunning sea views out over St Julians Bay.

The rooftop pool area offers stunning sea views and there is also a gym in the hotel for guests to indulge in a workout. There is wifi throughout the hotel, and even a couple of laptops available for guests to borrow from reception.

The hotel restaurant – Zest – offers a fusion of east-meets-west cuisine and has an elegant yet edgy design, a good atmosphere, impeccable service and superb food. The restaurant is also open to non-guests of the hotel – so is a busy spot.
