Among the island’s premier 5* hotels, the Nobu Ibiza Bay is ideally situated mere metres from the shores of Talamanca beach.  Forget all-night revelling – Nobu Ibiza Bay is a truly boutique escape that stands out from the club crowd.  

Picture cocktails mixed by dedicated waiters, loungers by the fresh water pool and rooms and suites that overlook the beach.  Intimate bars and restaurants here become chic spots for a delightfully relaxing evening.  The beach here offers fabulous views out over the azure blue of the Mediterranean and the neighbouring island of Formentera in the distance.  It’s also all within a half hour stroll of Ibiza Town (or a 10 minute taxi trip).  Alternatively, there is a local ferry across the bay from the Botafoch marina.

The hotel is a modernist mid-rise property where glossy surfaces are tempered by rustic Ibizan decorative influences. The idyllic pool area is literally metres from the beach and the Six Senses spa offers the ultimate in relaxation. The restaurant that gives the hotel its name – Nobu Matsuhisa’s famous Japanese restaurant also makes the most of the locally caught fresh Mediterranean seafood.

The 2 pools (one of which is for families) are surrounded by cabanas and sunbeds – the best of these can be reserved by the day but this comes with a required drink spend attached.

The 152 rooms and suites have been designed to complement the proximity to the sea – floor to ceiling windows and large spacious terraces are ubiquitous. Interior colour palettes are soft and muted and rooms are fully equipped with all the necessities required for a perfectly relaxing holiday.

Breakfast is taken at the beachside Chamboa where the switch at lunchtime encompasses seaside cuisine. The poolside menu offers a combination of snacks from Chamboa and Nobu. Come evening-time, it’s all about the namesake show stopper – Nobu, which is a truly special dining extravaganza worthy of the international recognition and where ever dish is a taste sensation.
