The initial welcome to the Hacienda San Jorge is a 700m2 light and plant filled lobby decorated with avant garde furniture.  This is the main meeting point within the hotel before meandering out to the charming gardens full of giant ficus and dragon trees.  

Whilst enjoying the gardens, or simply admiring them from the balcony of any of the rooms here, being submerged in the wonderful symphony of sensations that only nature creates – the smell of grass, the scent of the flowers, the sound of birdsong and water running in streams and fountains – there are many gardens which are meant to be visited – the one at the Hacienada San Jorge is meant to be felt.  Once weekly, there is a guided tour offered by the hotel – the orchid house is not to be missed.

The famous Canarian artist Facundo Fierro is behind the Hacienda San Jorge which is just across the road from a volcanic beach and a 5 minute walk from Los Canajos and its amenities. Apartments here offer 1- or 2-bedrooms. All have a balcony or terrace with views over the gardens or out to sea and are well equipped and comfortable.

The large freeform lagoon style pool is surrounded by ample terraces complete with sunbeds and palm trees for natural shade. Close by is the buffet-style restaurant for those guests with meals included. This offers views across to the island capital Santa Cruz.
