The Maslina Resort is a luxury Relaix and Chateux waterside property in a sheltered bay close to the village of Stari Grad on the beautiful island of Hvar.  

Hvar Island is not only known for its dense pine forests, crystalline waters, and mild climate; it is a multi-generational destination celebrated for its rich history, UNESCO heritage, booming party scene, and culinary prowess. Likewise, its remote villages and ancient customs are a precious testament to the Mediterranean ancestry and lifestyle that continues to thrive today.

Architecturally designed, the resort has been carefully integrated into its’ surroundings. Maslina means “olive” and the pre-existing olive trees were all preserved and reincorporated into the gardens. Interiors are filled with local stone, wood, shiny brushed brass and terracotta tiles. Natural fabrics are inspired by the island’s pinewoods, rocks and the sea. The property even has its own organic kitchen garden which suppliers the restaurant, bar and spa.

Spacious rooms offer extra-comfortable beds complete with coco-mat mattresses and private sea view terraces. There are 15 rooms, 35 suites (some of which offer private pool) and 3 luxurious villas each with private pools that truly offer a home-away-from-home.

The Pharomatiq Spa offers an array of family or solo wellness activities and treatments. The island of Hvaar remains a haven for health and wellbeing and has been recognised as a wellness destination since 1868. The contemporary Mediterranean-inspired restaurant is open for both breakfast and dinner where a full a la carte menu with tasting options as well as classic and craft cocktails is on offer – dining can be inside or out. Just along the coastline is A-Bay – a laid back, beachside hangout with more of the stunning sea views. The expansive family pool area is a great spot for soaking up the sun with a shallow area for families. Just steps away is the infinity pool area which offers a fantastic view out over the bay from the double lounge chairs under the shade of the native olive trees.

The Maslina Resort is accessed from Split airport via a local transfer, 2 hour ferry ride to Stari Grad and then just a 2 minute car ride. There are also ferries to the island from Dubrovnik. Alternatively, arrive in luxury via private speedboat or even helicopter direct from Split airport.
