Taking pride of place on the waterfront, the fabulous Vidamar Resort & Hotel features glossy interior and grand atriums reminiscent of upmarket cruise liners.  Outside, palm tree dotted gardens wrap around the property. The Vidamar is seamlessly integrated into sunny Madeira’s southern coastline and is a short walk from central Funchal, with its shops, iconic market, shopping centre and museums.

At the base of the cliffs (accessed via lift from the hotel main building), three saltwater infinity pool sit side by side and offer fantastic views out to sea. Steps give direct access to swimming platforms from the surrounding terraces. The Thalasso Sea Spa also offers and indoor pool and a full range of treatments are offered.

Half board is provided with a dine-around system in place to enable guests to visit any of the three themed restaurants or the main buffet restaurant.
