  • Ca Ripoli is a beautiful and historical farmhouse dating from the 17th century, and has been lovingly restored with both tradition and comfort in mind. Set in a wonderful location near the little village of Monterchi (near Arezzo) with 3 bedrooms, ensuite bathrooms, garden, pool and surrounded by fantastic and unspoilt countryside.

    Ca Ripoli is in a great position for exploring both Tuscany and Umbria. Arezzo is just 30 minutes away offering quick train links to Florence. Most guests visit nearby Cortona, Gubbio, San Gimignano, Siena, Florence and many other places of interest.

    Monterchi, the nearest village with services (market on Sundays), is also famous as the home of the 'Madonna del Parto' fresco by Piero della Francesca. The town is 4km from Ca Ripoli and has a wonderful selection of restaurants, in and around the ancient walls of the village. Bus stop in town.

    Ca Ripoli offers unique accommodation spread across three levels. You will find tasteful furniture and all the modern comforts making your stay pleasant and relaxing.

The Details

On the ground floor you can find a fully equipped laundry/cloakroom, a large kitchen/dining room with a traditional wood burning stove, table and chairs for 6 adults, a cool reading and relaxing room. The kitchen is complete with electric oven, gas hob and extractor fan, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, Italian coffee maker and electric kettle. There is also a safe for storing your valuables and passports etc.

The kitchen has double doors leading out to an external eating area, with stone table and six more chairs - all covered by a pergola. We also have a highchair available for babies.

The villa offers 3 stunning double bedrooms, all with ensuite facilites.

There is also a comfortable living room with a bookcase, three sofas, TV with DVD and video recorder, telephone point (fine for Internet). The bookcase is one of three in the villa offering a broad range of reading material, mostly in English. There are also a number of recent films to watch on DVD. For children (or the young at heart!) there is a Playstation games console with a selection of games. One of the sofas is also a double sofabed, just in case you need more room.

There are hairdryers in each of the bathrooms as well as fans in each of the bedrooms.

Outside, the swimming pool, 10x5.5 mts, 1.45 mts depth open from April to October, is fenced with rustic wood to ensure your children's safety.

There are 6 sun loungers and a table and chairs in the pool area. There are also 2 umbrellas offering shade. There is also a fresh water shower in the pool area.

Ca Ripoli is situated in 10 acres of land, half of which are fields where children can safely play, and the rest are woods to explore and see the local wildlife - including birds of prey, wild boar and deer.
