    BEACHES

    The sea and beach clubs in Kalkan town are approximately a 20 minute drive from the villa. Both Kaputaş beach and Patara beach are approximately 30 minutes’ drive from Islamlar.

    SHOPS

    There is a small grocery market in Islamlar serving essential items and a handful of restaurants within walking distance of the villa including the Uzum Bistro (closed for 2017 due to illness) which is run by the owners of the villa. 

    Kalkan town, a 20 minute drive, offers larger supermarkets and a weekly fruit and vegetable market. There are many restaurants, cafes and bars in Kalkan town centre.

    NEAREST AIRPORT

    Dalaman Airport is 1 hour and 50 minutes by car.

    NOTES

    Maid service is provided on a daily basis for light cleaning, with towels & bed linen changed every two days.

     

  • Set high in the mountains with breath-taking panoramic views across to the amazing Patara beach, View With A Room in Islamlar is the ultimate in chic mountain hideaways! 

    Modern and contemporary styling creates one of the most unusual and “off beat” properties in the Lycian Coastal area.

    The property has been designed to take full advantage of the stupendous view from every aspect; there’s floor to window glass throughout, both bedrooms offer the maximum in views, a bathroom jacuzzi looks over the lush mountain-scapes and from the huge pool terrace you could practically step into the view! In fact, you can actually smell the view! The mountain herbs and plants create such a delicate fragrance.

    View With A Room offers all of the above, yet at the same time is not too remote; Kalkan town with plentiful cafes, restaurants and beach clubs is just a 20 minute drive and the vast sands of Patara are a 25 minute drive. Closer to home the Üzüm Bistro, run by the owners of the villa is nearby and it’s just a ten minute stroll to the local village restaurants.

    This is a perfect honeymoon destination but the recent addition of a second bedroom means it is ideal for two couples holidaying together.

    The Üzüm Bistro (closed for 2017 due to illness) is a tiny 10 seater restaurant situated close to Üzüm Evi, Salkim Evi, A View With A Room and Yasemin Evi. Consider it your own personal dining room, the location with a handful of candle and lantern lit tables enjoy the fabulous sun set view over the valley. It’s reservation only and for those nights when you’d prefer not to head away from home it’s the perfect option.

    Salkim Evi and Üzüm Evi are situated in the vicinity and View With A Room may suit those who wish to have friends holidaying nearby.

The Room Details

Upper Floor: Entrance to open plan living area with seating area, kitchen area, dining area and spacious bedroom area. Separate bathroom.

Lower Floor: External steps down to lower floor with spacious bedroom suite with stunning “drop off” views. Bathroom with jacuzzi bath, shower/WC. This room has a TV and a small drinks refrigerator.
