    BEACHES

    All guests staying in Villa Su can pay to use the Mahal Beach Club and its’ fabulous restaurant they also may use the shuttle boat for a small fee to and from Kalkan town harbour.

    500m/10-minute Mahal water-taxi to Kalkan harbour. Mahal water-taxi service to harbour 09:00 – 19:00. 1.5km/20-minute walk to Kalkan village or 10-minute drive. The closest mini market is situated in the local Kisla area.

    Dalaman Airport is 1 hour and 40 minutes by car.

    NOTES

    Maid service is provided on a daily basis for light cleaning, with towels and bed linen changed every two days. This property is not suited to those with limited mobility due to a steep hillside location. This villa is suited to a family but bear in mind the access to the lower terrace rooms is from outside and therefore may not be suitable for younger children.

     

  • Villa Su just like its neighbour Villa Gunbatimi has oodles of wow factor! The initial surprise comes when you enter the property from the garden area to find the long, low villa has an entire wall of glass looking out to Kalkan’s extraordinarily beautiful bay. It is breathtaking.

    The architecture is very clever; from the interior the huge glass windows make it appear that you are suspended in the view, whilst from the sea you can appreciate what a solid building this is. The pale stone huge vertical columns frame the views. Every room is spacious and takes full advantage of the panoramic outlook. The style is contemporary and at the same time comfortable, but with a nod to the traditional in the form of exquisite hand crafted Turkish kilims.

    The view from the infinity edge of the beautiful private pool is probably as good as it gets! A speed boat passes and leaves a white trail as an abstract swirl on the cobalt blue sea. Later in the day as the sun sinks you will experience sunsets which really make sense of the word. Come night time the bright silver moonlight reflects on the inky darkness of the bay. It is a constantly changing scene.

    The inimitable Ipek Hanim, creative genius of the Hotel Villa Mahal has used her vision and skill to create this collection of 3 villas set just above the Mahal Beach Club. Villa Günbatimi, Villa Ruya and this one, Villa Su. The Mahal Beach Club is Kalkan’s finest, platforms shaded by olive trees are cut into the cliff and offer sun beds and shades, at sea level the decked platforms with steps allow you to access the crystal clear water which is great for snorkelling. It is effortlessly stylish, sophisticated and fun! The beach clubs’ very chilled waterside restaurant offers an extensive menu and fabulous cocktails throughout the day and evening.

The Room Details

Entrance Floor: Entrance to massive open plan living area with double height sitting room with floor to ceiling glass opening onto a terrace that runs the length of the building. To the left side is the beautifully fitted kitchen with indoor dining area and floor to ceiling glass at the front and at the side. The upper terrace is equipped with comfortable lounging furniture and dining furniture. Guest cloakroom. Steps lead up to the master bedroom with perfect window positioning, lie in bed and see the sea, stand up and see the sea, head to the open en suite bathroom and see the sea. Steps lead from the exterior down to.. 

Lower Floor: Second bedroom accessed from the terrace with double bed and en suite bathroom with bath/shower/WC. Third bedrooms accessed from the terrace with beds that can be arranged as twin or as double and with en suite bathroom with shower/WC. Separate entrance to kitchenette, handy for pool terrace and for lower master bedroom. Pool Terrace The kidney shaped infinity pool is surrounded by furnished sun terraces. 

Roof Terrace: Exterior steps lead up from the first floor to the Roof Terrace. This area includes a barbecue, stone seating area, sun beds, a roof garden and provides the most stunning location at sunset.
