Villas In Turkey
Over the past few years Turkey has developed enormously, with economic growth and an ever expanding tourism market. However, our policy remains the same as it was in the early years, to offer the independent traveller destinations that are not overtaken by mass tourism but to offer a hand picked selection of holiday villas with pools and family run hotels in Turkey to suit the more discerning traveller.
Our rental portfolio of villas in Turkey is made up of privately owned villa and hotel properties with swimming pools, some directly on the sea and others situated just a short drive from the coast. Whichever location you choose, Akyaka, Datça, Selimiye, Kalkan, Kaş or the Bodrum Peninsula, our selection of villas in Turkey will allow you to enjoy the spectacular natural beauty of the Turkish coastline, stunning clear blue waters, magnificent archaeological sites and pretty villages of whitewashed houses that dot the area. Most of our holiday villas with pools in Turkey are best suited to warmer weather but a few villas in Turkey are available for winter rentals.
For sun lovers there is plenty of opportunity to swim and sunbathe and from most villages there are boat trips that allow you to stop in little coves often accessible only by sea. The weekly markets are a must, fine shows of local produce, beautiful fabrics and stalls heaped with t-shirts, sweat shirts and jeans. Hours can be spent in the bazaar-like shopping streets of the towns, Turkish rugs, gold jewellery, leather goods, CD's, and all at a fraction of the price back home. For nature lovers the best time to visit Turkey is in the springtime: After the heavy winter rains the lush greenery of the southwest coast is at its best with the glorious aroma of the pine forests. Colourful wild flowers cover the hill sides and the chance to watch animals and birds in the wild improves greatly. Our range of villas in Turkey gives you the perfect base to get out and explore the local culture and natural beauty of the area.
Ancient Turkey For the history enthusiast, whichever area you choose for your villa in Turkey you will be near some of the world's greatest archaeological sites and historical monuments. Some of the better known sites have been extensively excavated and are best enjoyed with the services of a guide but there are numerous smaller sites, where, armed with a guide book and the help of the site watchman (and it is very likely that you'll have the whole site to yourselves) you can delve into the colourful past of these ancient settlements. If you love getting out and about seeing the sights then we have villas in Turkey near some of the most impressive sites in the country.
Dining out Turkish food is rated as one of the three great cuisines of the world. Whether you are in a busy coastal town or a small country village youll always find a fantastic choice of restaurants with a menu based on fresh local produce. There is always a superb selection of seafood, vegetable and yoghurt ''meze'' dishes. Served with delicious crusty bread you may enjoy barbecued lamb marinated with sumac and thyme, kebabs flavoured with spices on wooden skewers, tasty bream, bass and mullet grilled on an open fire and in some areas fresh trout, all accompanied by salads incorporating whatever happens to be in season and followed by succulent peaches, cherries, melons or figs, depending on the time of year. Local wines are plentiful and of course no meal is really complete until you have taken a cup of thick, sweet Turkish coffee. With the wonderful selection of fresh produce available cooking ''at home'' in any of our villas in Turkey is a pleasure, and at some of our villas with pools the housekeeping staff are willing to prepare local dishes. Please contact our friendly travel consultants to hear about which of our villas in Turkey have catering services available.
