Description
One of the most delightful features of Bitez is the network of walkways through the dry river beds and old irrigation channels and a few metres off the road along one of those river beds you will find Villa Ekrem. Once inside the huge gates you will find a spacious garden surrounded by tall trees, planted with mandarin trees and in the centre a large private swimming pool with teak sunbeds, swing seat, cushions, hammocks and a shady pergola with dining area. It’s peaceful and quiet and hard to believe that it’s only a six minute walk to the Bitez sea front where you will find a great choice of beach clubs, beach activities, boat trips and restaurants.
The single storey stone house set on the land is simple but we think you are unlikely to spend a lot of time inside the house with such a magnificent pool (13 metres x 6.5 metres, depth ranging from 1.50 metres to 1.80 metres) and nearby beach. A shady terrace runs the length of the house and offers a breakfast area and a huge divan, the perfect place to curl up with a book. With two independent living areas this property is perfect for either a family with older children or two couples holidaying together who will appreciate having their own space. Additionally this is a property perfectly suited to those who prefer not to drive whilst on holiday, the local mini bus passes the end of the road and there are plenty of shops and restaurants within walking distance.

Nearest beaches - Bitez beach is a 6 minute walk from the property and a little further away is the sandy beach of Ortakent. Gümüşlük with lagoon like swimming and great snorkelling is a 30 minute drive.
SHOPS & RESTAURANTS:
There is a good variety of shops in nearby Bitez village and once weekly there is a fruit and vegetable market (20 minutes walk). The nearest large supermarkets are on the main road to Bodrum (40 minutes walk/10 minutes drive). There are many restaurants in the Bitez beach area (5 minutes walk).
NOTES:
Car hire is not essential and the local mini bus stop is nearby.
