Description
The Cream House is a simple Bodrum style house perfectly suited for summer living. Situated on a residential street in the upper part of Gökçebel village this house is a good choice for a couple or small family.
The villa is spread over three floors and offers ample choice of outdoor areas. There’s the front balcony with settee and comfortable chairs and catching a cool breeze, perfect for breakfast; the kitchen terrace, a great lunch or dinner area; the upper terrace with a wisteria covered pergola filled with plump cushions and sunbeds, ideal for daytimes by the pool, and a magnificent roof terrace with fantastic views to the sea and the “Sphinx” rock and yet more plump cushions; this is the perfect place for early evening drinks.
At the rear of the villa is a lovely pool (approximately 5.5 x 3.4 metres, constant depth 1.5 m). either side is planted with traditional Mediterranean bay trees and colourful oleander. The neighbouring apartment to one side is on a higher level and as such the outside staircase is visible and is utilised by the occupants.

BEACHES:
Nearest beaches - The beaches and coves around Yalikavak and Gündogan are within a 10 minute drive from the property. The larger sandy beaches on the south side of the Peninsula are all within a 25 minute drive. Gümüşlük with lagoon like swimming and great snorkelling is a 30 minute drive.
SHOPS & RESTAURANTS:
There is a small village shop just minutes from the property stocked with everyday items including fresh bread, fresh eggs and ice creams; once weekly there is a fruit and vegetable market. The nearest large supermarkets are on the main road to Yalikavak (15 minutes walk/3 minutes drive) and Yalikavak town also has a weekly fruit and vegetable market. There are many restaurants in Yalikavak town centre. (5 minutes drive).
NOTES:
Car hire is recommended although taxis can be called to the house.
