Description
Typical of the region, Le Tre Cipresse is a warm stone farmhouse has all of the traditional features you would hope to find in a rural dwelling: cotto tiled floors, colour washed walls, feature fireplaces and heavy chestnut beamed ceilings. Comfortably furnished and well equipped it offers a pleasing blend of modern Italian style and classic Italian charm. We recommend you take time to relax, with a glass of Rubesco from nearby Torgiano, on the terrace and enjoy the birdsong.
There are a number of small villages nearby but the jewel in the crown is Todi, a medieval hilltop town of Etruscan origins situated mid province between Perugia and Terni looking across the majestic Tiber valley towards Montecastello di Vibio, another smaller hilltop town. The latter has a delightful 200 year old theatre that is the smallest functioning theatre in the World.
“Rolling hills blanketed with oaks and evergreen cypresses; fields of golden wheat alternating with rows of brilliant sunflowers; lazy rivers meandering across fertile valleys; great food from great trattorias – tasty, seasonal and locally produced, with equally good wines to wash it all down; Romanesque churches, medieval hill top villages and renaissance masterpieces to keep you entertained should you so desire.” Although this idyllic description (paraphrased from Frances Mayes) could apply to any number of Umbrian locations, we are writing about the views from the terrace of Le Tre Cipresse, close to Todi, in verdant Umbria.

Price
Rental prices are based on seven days with Saturday start. For Easter and Feste reservations please ask for a quotation. Prices shown are £ Sterling and payments in other currencies will be calculated at the applicable exchange rate on the payment date. There is a breakage cash deposit of £200 payable on arrival, this will be returned to you, less any deductions, on the day of departure. There is an additional charge for the use of air conditioning and heating (charged on consumption).
