Ilios Travel is a trading name of the Visions Holiday Group Limited. Holidays featured on this web site and in the corresponding brochures for which we have arranged flights are ATOL protected by the Civil Aviation Authority. Our ATOL number is ATOL 5889. This means that in the unlikely event of our insolvency, the CAA will ensure that you are not stranded abroad and will arrange to refund any money you have paid to us for an advance booking.

Visions Holiday Group is a member of AITO, The Association of Independent Tour Operators. All AITO companies are fully bonded and governed by AITO’s Independent dispute Settlement Service, which means you are in safe hands. The common aim of AITO members is to provide an attractive alternative to mass-market holidays, combining high standards backed up with a more knowledgeable, personal and caring service. Where we have not arranged flights we are bonded with AITO Trust Limited, the organisation set up by the Association of Independent Tour Operators for your financial protection, which means your holiday payments are fully secured.

HOW TO RESERVE YOUR HOLIDAY

CONTACT OUR OFFICE to ensure that the accommodation and or flights are available for the dates you require. A provisional booking will be held for 2 days pending receipt of your booking form and deposit payment. Complete the booking form with all available information, sign and forward it together with your deposit. (For properties in Italy and Spain this deposit will be 30% of the total property rental plus all appropriate travel deposits and insurance premiums. For properties in Turkey the deposit will be £200 per person for one and two week holidays plus insurance premiums).

Upon receipt of the above our office will issue a Confirmation Invoice setting out the details and full cost of your holiday booking as agreed. The balance of your holiday cost will become payable 13 weeks prior to departure. Holiday reservations made within 13 weeks of departure will require full payment at the time of booking. All payments made by credit card will incur a 2.2% charge. Although a Confirmation Invoice is sent on receipt of deposit we do not issue receipts for deposits or final balances unless specifically requested. Please note that all bookings should be made through Ilios Travel.

Flight/ferry tickets, travel itinerary and directions will be forwarded DURING THE TWO WEEKS PRIOR TO DEPARTURE.

NOTE:- Please read the conditions of booking carefully. The person signing the Booking Form does so on behalf of all persons named thereon and warrants that no member of the party, is or will be travelling against the advice of a medical practitioner.

YOUR HOLIDAY COST INCLUDES:

ITALY, SPAIN & PORTUGAL – The rental price for most of the properties includes normal use of electricity, gas, water, linen, all local taxes and maid service for the prescribed number of days as indicated under the accommodation details for each property. Any exceptions are stated at the bottom of the price panels. Prices do not include the cost of air-conditioning or heating unless specified. Please ensure you read the online text as well as the brochure text for any amendments or changes.

TURKEY – Your holiday accommodation, normal use of electricity, gas and water facilities supplies, the services of a cleaner (minimum twice weekly) and fresh linen and towels twice weekly. Heating is not included. Where neither a full nor part time company representative is available, the owner or their representative will offer any assistance you may require and will deal with any emergencies occurring during your stay. Value Added Tax – in accordance with EEC regulations for inclusive holidays this tax will not be shown on your confirmation invoice as it cannot be reclaimed.  Please ensure you read the online text as well as the brochure text for any amendments or changes.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

Please ensure that you have a full 10 year UK or EU passport at the time of your holiday. This must be valid for 3 months beyond your intended return date. Children over the age of 15 years require their own passport. From October 1998, anyone renewing an existing passport on which children or infants are registered, must obtain separate full passports for children including infants.
Please note: if you are getting married your tickets will be issued in the name registered on your passport. No visas are required for EU nationals. Anyone travelling on other than an EU passport is advised to check with the Italian Consulate (0891 600 340) for visa advice and also British Immigration (08700 606 7766) for any requirements regarding re-entry into the UK. Failure to produce a visa, if required, will result in refusal of entry and a possible fine.

BOOKINGS FOR NEXT YEAR

Some of our houses are booked as early as a year ahead by returning clients, if you would like to reserve a house for next year we recommend that you check availability and make your reservation with payment of a small deposit as soon as you are able to avoid unnecessary disappointment.
