Villa La Volpe is an enchanting farmhouse in Tuscany; it can trace its history back as far as the 18th century, when it was a hunting lodge. Here in this part of the Lucchese countryside, noblemen built their summer villas and here they came in the spring and summertime to spend their holidays. 

The villa is situated in a lovely spot, surrounded by monumental historic villas, among vineyards and olive groves and has been completely restored and renovated while maintaining the charm of a typical house of the Tuscan countryside.

Peaceful silence and greenery surround Villa La Volpe; the only sounds you hear around the house are birdsong and the rustling of the leaves.

Furnished with typical Tuscan antique furniture and fitted with air conditioning system can accommodate up 20 guests.

The house is tucked away, hidden from the eyes of any curious observer, but it is easy to get there, on a country road just 200 meters from the main road. The villa has been completely restored and renovated while maintaining the charm of a typical house of the Tuscan countryside. The two-storey building has been painted in traditional red brick colour and is embellished with a picture of the fox (“La Volpe”) and grapes, and another picture of the compass rose.

Villa La Volpe has 10 charming rooms with en suite baths, each room is furnished with typical Tuscan antique furniture. For those who want to maintain contact with the outside world there is satellite TV in each room, including the living room. Two computers, Skype and wireless allow young and old to stay in touch with the world that they have left for the vacation.

The garden and the pool area brimming with colourful flowers delighting the guests. The evening air is scented with the fragrance of the earth and the surrounding woods. The daily afternoon breeze that gently sweeps over the patio with its easy chairs, tables, and gazebos makes a vacation here always pleasant, even on the hottest days of August.

Ground Floor – Two living rooms, dining room, study with satellite TV, stereo and wireless internet connection, two fully equipped kitchens with fireplaces and lounge area, a double/twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and a small double bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower.

All rooms have individually controlled air conditioning.

First Floor – 8 bedrooms – Four double/twin bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with tubs, a double bedroom with en suite bathroom with tub, a twin bedroom with en suite bathroom with shower and two double/twin bedrooms sharing a bathroom with shower complete the first floor. All of the bedrooms are air conditioned and have satellite TVs and mosquito screens.

Gardens – Shaded terrace with large wooden dining table (seats up to twenty people). Large patio with tables and chairs for outdoor dining. Lounge chairs. 1 Gazebo grown in by jasmine, shading a round table for 10 guests. 1 Gazebo grown in by grapevines, shading a round table for 10 guests.

Halfway down from the patio to the swimming pool, you will find another terrace with a wooden gazebo, lined with flowers and green plants, which is used as an outdoor gym with a variety of exercise gear. 2 Barbecue stations.
